Announces Recall of Humidifiers WASHINGTON, DC- In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Hunter Fan Co., of Memphis, Tenn., is voluntarily recalling about 100,000 humidifiers. The motors in these humidifiers can overheat, posing a fire hazard. Hunter Fan has received nine reports of the humidifiers' motors overheating, including one incident involving minor property damage. No injuries have been reported.
