Announce Recall of Dining Set Chairs WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announces the following recall in voluntary cooperation with the firm below. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Name of product: HD Designs, 5-piece Dining Set Units: About 600 setsManufacturer: Commend Co. Ltd., of Fair Lawn, N.J. Hazard: The wooden chairs can break, posing a fall hazard to consumers.Incidents/Injuries: Commend has received one report of a chair breaking. In this report, there was a fall and minor injury. Description: The chairs and table are sold unassembled as part of a boxed 5-piece dining set. The words "HD Designs 5 Piece Dining Set" and item number BFR3917HO are written on the box. The chairs and dining table are honey oak wood and the seats have beige vinyl padding. Sold at: Fred Meyer stores in Idaho, Washington, Oregon and Alaska; Fry's stores in Arizona; and Smith's Marketplace stores in Utah from April 2004 to October 2004 for about $200.
