Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Name of Product: Loyal Bedding Mattress Sets (Mattresses and Mattresses with Foundations) Units: About 2,700 Distributor: Guaynabo Industrial Inc., of Puerto Rico Manufacturer: Loyal Bedding Inc., of Miami, Fla. Hazard: The mattresses sets fail to meet the mandatory federal open flame standard for mattresses, posing a fire hazard to consumers. Incidents/Injuries: None reported. Description: This recall involves all Loyal Bedding mattress sets (Mattresses and Mattresses with Foundations). They were sold in twin, full, queen, and king sizes. “Loyal Bedding” and “Classic Rest”, “Designer Collection”, or “Smart Loyal” are printed on a label at the foot of the top of the mattress. Sold Exclusively by: Mattress retailers throughout Puerto Rico from July 2007 through February 2009 for between $165 and $300.
