Announce Recall of Stack-On Strong Box Safes The following product safety recall was conducted voluntarily by the firm in cooperation with the CPSC. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Name of Product: Stack-On Strong Box Safe Units: 1,320 Importer: Stack-On Products Company, Wauconda, IL Hazard: These safes can be opened without the use of a combination by jiggling with the door knob. This could allow unauthorized access to a hand gun and the potential for serious injury. Incidents/Injuries: No injuries have been reported. Description: The recalled safes weigh about 14 pounds and contain an electronic keypad lock and are gray in color. They were sold with four AA batteries. Sold at: The safes were sold nationwide through gun supply stores, sporting good stores, and safe retail stores for about $40.
