HazardThe bunk bed can be assembled incorrectly, creating a space that exceeds the 1.88 inches allowed by the industry standard, posing an entrapment hazard to young children.

RemedyConsumers should immediately check to see if they have the recalled bunk beds and then contact Lea Industries to determine if the bed is misassembled. A professional installer can be dispatched to raise the position of the bottom bunk bed and install new brackets on the bookcase. Lea Industries is contacting known customers directly.
