Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Name of Product: “Robot 2000” collectable tin robot Units: About 2,600 Importer: Schylling Associates Inc., of Rowley, Mass. Hazard: Surface paints on the robot contain excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard. Incidents/Injuries: None reported. Description: The “Robot 2000” is a battery-operated, tin robot standing 12” tall. It has a red light on the head and chest panels that open. Sold at: Specialty toy stores and gift shops nationwide from October 2006 through September 2007 for about $25.
