Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Name of product: Makit & Bakit Jewelry Sets and Suncatcher Sets Units: About 70,000 Importer: QuinCrafts, of Dexter, Mich. Hazard: The clasps on some of the jewelry contains high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. Incidents/Injuries: None reported. Description: The recall includes QuinCrafts products containing children’s jewelry. Sold at: AC Moore, CVS, LTD Commodities, Marshall’s/TJ Maxx, Michaels Corp. and other toy and independent craft supply stores nationwide from August 2007 through March 2008 for about $2.
