Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Name of Product: Model Year 2008 Arctic Cat 50cc and 90cc All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) Units: About 6,000 Distributed by: Arctic Cat Inc., of Thief River Falls, Minn. Hazard: The speed controller on the recalled ATVs could fail to return to the idle position when the throttle lever is released, or the speed controller could fail to be at idle on start up. This could result in loss of vehicle control, which could result in serious injury or death to the rider. Incidents/Injuries: None reported.
