Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Name of Product: “Bagi Shumanit” Super Cold Grease Removers Units: About 245,000 Importer: Fantastic Distributors, of Brooklyn, N.Y. Hazard: Direct contact with this substance can cause burns to consumers’ skin and eyes. The product lacks required special packaging and warning label. Incidents/Injuries: None reported. Description: “Bagi Shumanit” Super Cold Grease Remover is packaged in a white 26.4 fl oz. (750 ml) bottle with a trigger sprayer. This product is intended to clean grease from ovens and other cooking surfaces. Sold at: Various grocery stores in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut from April 2000 through September 2008 for about $5. Manufactured in: Israel Remedy: Consumers should immediately pour any remaining product into the toilet, using care to avoid splashing.
