Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Name of Product: Polaris Snowmobiles Units: About 7,200 Importer: Polaris Industries Inc., of Medina, Minn. Hazard: The fuel lines on the snowmobiles can make contact with one another, which could result in a fuel leak. This can pose a fire hazard to consumers. Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received eight reports of fuel leaks. No fires or injuries have been reported. Description: This recall involves model year 2007, 2008 and 2009 Polaris snowmobiles with Clean Fire Injection (CFI) and a left-hand pump flange assembly. The model and serial number identification decal is located on the right side of the tunnel below the seat.
