Hazard | The weld between the slide bedway and sidewall can crack and separate. A child's fingers can get caught in the space, posing an amputation hazard. |
Injuries | Playworld is aware of 13 incidents of broken welds, including two children who have suffered finger amputations. |
Remedy | Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled slides and contact Playworld for a free replacement slide and free installation. A temporary barrier will be shipped to consumers prior to shipment of a replacement slide to prevent children from using the slide. Playworld is contacting consumers who purchased the slides directly. |
