The door knobs may crack or break during use resulting in hand lacerations.Gainsborough has received two reports of laceration injuries to the hand as a result of these door knobs breaking during use.The door knob sets sold from January 1991 until May 1993 for approximately $10 through 38 hardware and home improvement stores located nationwide. This door knob, which was sold in sets of two, is available in white and ivory and has a gold-colored oval backplate with a rope design around its perimeter.
